Eb2 recruitment

I got a job offer last week and my future employer is ready to file EB2. Since they have already made sincere and adequate recruitment effort to hire local US workers, can we use that for labor recruitment phase? or do they need to advertise the position again. This will help me to expedite the labor certification process.

Please let me know if this is possible.
