diliphr
Attorney, I work for a small consultancy. My employer initially promised me in providing original LC and I-140 to my self. Now, my LC and I-140 got approved. I would like know: In future, if the consultancy gets audited, will there be any issue if my original LC and I-140 are not with my employer? Is it a rule that, the original LC and I-140 should always be with the employer? Please let me know. Thanks in advance. -Dilip Link to comment
Joe.F
These are applications filed by the employer. The employer needs to have them in his files. Link to comment

dec2008
Original PERM approval is submitted with I-140 application. The notice of approval for I-140 is generally kept by the attorney office, as it is required for 485 application. Link to comment
