H1B Transfer and Out of Status Issue - Help!

Please provide your inputs on my situation – H1B transfer and layoff.

I will be laid off pretty soon (say June 15) from my current employer A. I have an application pending with employer B with start date Sep 1, premium processing. Based on my receipt date, I am sure my application with employer B will be approved before I get laid off from A. But, there will be a two month gap from my lay off date with A and my start date with employer B.

I filed and got my H1B transfer approved before going out of status (lay off). My question is, will I be considered out of status during that two month period, before starting with B (I will have a approved H1B transfer in my hand)??
