RajuVeg
My I-140 is approved and my employer says they will not share a copy of the approval , will only hand it over if there is a termination of employment. Is there a way I can get a copy from USCIS? Link to comment
Belle
You can't get a copy of approval, but you can generally get a copy of your immgration file through a FOIA request. Now, the question is - does your employer really want you to work for them indefinitely based on that I-140? If not, maybe you are better off with a different employer. Link to comment
lagasmt
The petitioner of I140 is your employer. You are the beneficiary. You only need a copy of I140 at the time of filing your I485. It's required for employment based I485 petitions. You can request your employer and get it asap. I don't see a reason why they don't give just a copy to you! Some crooked employers think they can their restrict employees by not cooperating in the GC process. Link to comment
