Hi,

We have sent the documents on Jul 18.

No reciept yet? is it true, this much time they take for processing without receipt notice?

The H1b extension documents delivered on Jul 18 th VSC centre.

1) No receipt number yet.

2) by end of today, 15 calendar days are completed.

3) My HR says, 15 working day not calendar days?

4) In the forum, I have found that 15 calendar days.

Should they update by end of today?

1) No receipt number yet.( Confirm with your employer about both cheques H1 fee and premium fee are encashed or not. If checques are encashed, that is your receipt date. If cheques are not encashed, track your H1 application package with courier services)

4) In the forum, I have found that 15 calendar days (Yes, USCIS will process all premium applications in 10 working days, incase of queries or RFE, 10 working days after they receive additional documents).

Hello Infra,

I'm on the same boat as you. H1B extension document delivered at VSC on 07/13. Both cheques encashed on 07/15. Unfortunately, the cheque does not have a receipt number on the backside. So neither me nor my lawyer has any clue on whats going on with my application.

Just hoping for the best as I'm very close to my H1 expiry :(

did you apply for premium?or regular.

This is very Bad, they are saying status will come in 15 days. But , they haven't given the receipt number yet. Every one is helpless in the technology world. We have to sit like a slave!

Mine is Premium Processing..... Didn't get any update today either :(

I am also in the same boat, as per USPS tracking number application was delivered on 7/22/2011 and received by RANAUD. Cheque not en-cashed yet from the bank. Mine is H1B transfer case.
