If you did something, when did you do that? finallyGC Posted March 24, 2011 Author Report Share Posted March 24, 2011 I did not do anything specific. I believe murthy's bulletin during august 2007 specifying that they were getting I485 approvals immediately once the status becomes current. Link to comment

From what I read from the forums, it seems that we have to file a separate letter for changing the priority date of an existing 485 petition based on a newly approved 140. Got EB2 Approval with old priority date. The 485 is pending and current in same service center whre 140 was approved. Do I need to send a letter to USCIS for 485 review.
