ianwer Posted September 17, 2011 Report Share Posted September 17, 2011 My first H1B visa was expired on 17th March 2011, I-94 was expired on 28th March 2011 on old passport. I forgot to get I-94 stamp on new passport, but I-797 was valid upto 16th Sep 2011 which is today, My lawyer has send my extension file throght FedEx today. Am I out of status now, should I apply for visit visa for Canada in this situation? Actually I want to visit canada till approval notice of H1B extension and also want to stamp on the passport from canada, can I? Link to comment
