221g white slip issued in Matamoros, what is the procedure to take it up in india

I was given a white form by the VO, he ticked "other" and wrote down a reason "need to have a consulate verify your work status in 2008" and was asked to take it up in India. Can someone kindly tell me, how is that i need to proceed with the follow-up interview in India.

1. Is my 221G a white slip?

2. Do I have to book an appointment with a consulate by paying the HDFC DD?

3. where/how will i let the consulate know that i was issued a 221 G in matamoros and i am here for a follow-up interview?

Can someone kindly reply on what is the procedure I need to follow to take up the follow-up of the 221G in India.

What happened to your status in 2008. Can you explain your experience in Matamoros, This will helpful to other.

for your HDFC question you can follow this link (Prem.chh) . He went to India recently after getting 221 from matamoros and succesfully got stamped.

Sorry to hear about your situation, can you share what VO asked you and is there something you couldn't answer/show document and issued you white form?

Well I am sailing in the same boat like you

1.Fill DS-160 form

2.Ask any of your friend in India to do the HDFC reciept.

3.Wait for 48hours & schedule your appointment @ any consellate in India.

I believe you might have went to counter#6 in Matamoros probably that notorious bald head guy with French beard is the person who issued you 221 g white form.
