seenu_shrini
Hi All, I recently moved to Florida from NY. When I wanted to change my NY DL to FL DL, the rejected my DL saying my last name in I94 does not match with the surname in my Visa. My surname in passport is "Kannaiah Naidu" whereas in the I94 i wrote the family name as "Naidu". Because of the mismatch the homeland security rejected my DL application. My question is should I try and correct the I94 through USCIS ? I am not sure how to go about this. Please advise. Thanks, Srini Link to comment
seenu_shrini
I got to know from another thread I94 errors can be corrected at Customs & Border Protection(Deferred Inspection Office). http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/toolbox/contacts/deferred_inspection/overview_deferred_inspection.xml Let me try this and see if this resolves the issue. cheers, Srini Link to comment
mugar
Not Just for DL, for sake of your future immigration, you need to get you I-94 corrected. Link to comment
