A few details about my case:

I Joined ABC company in June, 2006.

Labour - Approved ( Nov 09 2006 )

Changed job in Dec 2006 and moved to XYZ company (Still on my H1). But company ABC continued my GREEN CARD process.

I 140 - Approved ( feb 15 2007)

I 485 - Applied on July 25 2007 ( recipient notice on Sept 17 2007)

Changed company and this time started using my EAD.

i have few questions:

1)Assuming i get called for a I-485 interview, is it a good idea to go back and join ABC company? ( my green card sponser) Or should i wait till i get my green card in hand ?

2) Will joining my green card sponser after i get my green card, help me at the time of citizenship?

3) If I have to join, how long should i stay with my green card sponser ?

You obviously have issues with intent to work for your green card sponsor. You have the option of using AC21 or ging back to the original sponsor after approval, and the question of "how long" makes me think AC21 maybe a better option for you. I am going to suggest you hire a good attorney and go through all scenarios for the interview. This is not really a forum question. You don't want to get a denial just because you did not want to spend a couple of hundred for a consultation.
