One of them is the immigration check - whether you were caught entering illegally, deported, entered undar false pretences, etc. The second one is namecheck, which is done by the FBI (and possibly other agenies). Namecheck sometimes takes a long time. The last one is fingerprint check, also run by the FBI, and this one takes shorter. Link to comment
