My OPT ended on 7th July 2011 and presently I am on cap gap. If I don't get a approval on my H1B before 1st October, can I legally work and receive pay check after October 1st till my petition is approved or rejected. Thanks. Link to comment

They said I could not work after Sep.30 until my H-1B petition being approved. I am confused too. My attorney said something opposite.
