vsc
Orginal 485 approval/welcome letter was sent to my employer and I received a courtesy copy. Should I ask my employer to give me the original? Will there be any situation in the future where I will be asked to produce original approvals? Thanks. Link to comment
Jignesh1972
I485 approval is your approval not employer you keep the original. Link to comment
Belle
Something seems fishy here. The original approval goes to the petitioner, which is you. Link to comment

nycwp2006
I got only a copy of the Welcome Letter. The actual copy went to the Lawyer (my previous employer's). But the green card was sent to me. Link to comment
tusharvk
only a procedural query: since we are the petitioners and not the employer for the 485, would the lawyer not require us to sign G28? Link to comment
goog
Same happened to me, the copy of welcome letter and copy of I-485 approval notice and my Green Card were sent to me . Original welcome letter and I-485 approval notice were sent to my lawyer, who mailed it to me. Link to comment
