Retention of Priority Date with I-140 withdrawn by Employer I-1485 Not Filled

Hello All,

I have an approved EB3 I-140 with employer "A "with a priority date of "X" and I-485 has not been filled. Lets assume that I move to employer "B" and employer "A" withdraws the I-140 petition. If I file a new PERM and I-140 with employer "B" can I still retain the priority date "X" from employer "A".

I have been getting mixed responses on the above scenario.Please give your valuable inputs. I really appreciate any response from anyone who has done priority date porting with withdrawn I-140 and I-485 not filled.
