EB3 to EB2, I-140 pending, How safe it is to go for Premium?

Hi

I have my GC filed in EB3 in 2007 and have EAD.

Now the same employer is doing EB2 and labor is approved. They have filed 140 two months back at Nebraska Sevice Center.

I am thinking to go for premium by paying extra $1000 so that i will know the status soon. But my employer is saying, since it is EB3 to EB2 conversion, better not to go for premium.

(1). How longer does it take for 140 Approval?

(2). Is it really not that safe to go for 140 premium?

(3). Anyone did premium recently? Are there are queries talk on this in the recent past?

Regular I-140 check processing times for the service center.

Don't really know what do you mean by "Safe". Premium just means expedited nothing else, its paying to speed up your application.

(3). Anyone did premium recently? Are there are queries talk on this in the recent past?

In was in the same situation EB3 To EB2 and did premium, no prob got approved in less than 8 days.
