vicrf
Hello. I was laid off in January 21, and I'm in my 7th year H1b. My PERM was approved. I still have to file the I-140, in case my company accepts to sign the papers for it. Until now I don't think that my company revoked my H1b, as I haven't received any communication from the immigration, although I don't know how long it takes. I would still like to try and transfer my H1B to a new company. I read somewhere that I could file for a new H1b here with a new company, then I would be able to leave the US and reenter few days later still based on my old visa, but before October. Or I could file the H1b here, and leave to my country before July 20th in a way to escape the 3 year bar, and wait for the process to be approved out of the US, and then return. Has anyone here ever heard of this? Is this really a possibility? Thanks! Link to comment
