PD 2005 and still waiting...Please share

Just curious for any GC applicants with PD in 2005 and still waiting. Please share any information that you have been taking to progress ur case.

Weird situation I have seen on forum a lot of people with PD may and june 2006 already got approved.

Do you have any attorney If I were you hired one.

Here is progression of things you need to do to get your case moving:

1. Service request for out of date processing. Wating for 45 days after the response, of no approval, then

2. Case problem report with the CIS Ombudsman, if no approval after 2-3 months, then

3. Contact your Congressional representatives for help.

Tried the SR 3 times since Aug 2010 (got a reply actively processing all the time)

Contacted congressmen (got a reply actively processing)

Thru my attorney and AILA liaison (no updates yet)

I will check with my attorney about CIS Ombudsman.

My attorney suggested to wait until july, since we opened a SR in Jan and that contacting thru CIS Ombudsman will make too many enquiries. Any thoughts? (I have opened 3 SRs since last July)
