ahaneo
I had my H1B Visa stamped in Nov for an employer and project. However I did not join that employer and instead joined another company back in INDIA itself. Now I am planning to go back to US to the employer who initially sponsored my VISA in NOV on a different project. I did not have my Wife's H4 visa stamped. Now since I am planning to travel to US, I am thinking of taking her along with me. Should we have the H4 stamped before me going to the US or after I land in US, the reason why I am asking is that my Initial visa that was stamped was for a different project than the current one. bharat_410
better would be to join the project in US and then let your wife apply for her H4. Because i read somewehre on the same community, counsulate have the right to reject the visa issued because of the delay you had to travel to US. So better would be, land in US and then apply for your wife's visa. Link to comment
