gerryagnelo Posted September 17, 2011 Report Share Posted September 17, 2011 I am on a L2 visa that expires Oct 5th, 2011 and my EAD expires Oct 15th 2011. My extension was filed on Aug 23rd and will take a 3.6 months to arrive as per the USCIS web site. My employer says that I cannot continue working after Oct 15th without a valid work permit. Is the receipt of the extension not vaid in the interiem for continuation of service??? Is that anything else that can be done so I can continue working while we wait for the visa??? Please advise.
