On H4 now,H1 in processing,going to India,to get stamped on H4 or wait for H1

Hi

I AM ON H4 now and applied for H1 PREMIUM PROCESSING.

I am Physician,going to India on Sep 2nd and coming back on Sep 28th,my H1 is supposed to start on Oct 1st and is in processing now.

When I go to India,is it better to get stamped on H4(With my wife going for H1 stamping at the same time) or wait until next 2weeks, until my H1 is approved and get stamped on H1 (after getting my papers from US).

MY QUESTIONS ARE:

1.Is it OK to come back to US with stamped h4 and get I 94 on arrival on Sept 28th,incase if my H1 is approved by that time (so will have a new I-94) valid from Oct 1st.

2.Wait until my H1 approved and get the papers from USA and then go for H1 stamping in India.
