Below is my understanding of questions, please respond with your suggestions. Part 1. Information About You ------------------------------- U.S. Social Security #(if any) >> My wife does not have a SSN but she has ITIN for tax purposes. Do I need to specify ITIN (instead of SSN) in this field? Part 3. Processing Information ----------------------------------- 1. I/We request that my/our current or requested status be extended until (mm/dd/yyyy): >> My H1B date 2.Is this application based on an extension or change of status already granted to your spouse, child, or parent? No Yes USCIS Receipt # >> I think Yes because my H1b is already extended and approved. 3.Is this application based on a separate petition or application to give your spouse, child, or parent an extension or change of status? No Yes, filed with this I-539 Yes, filed previously and pending with USCIS. Receipt #: >> No, I believe. 4. If you answered "Yes" to Question 3, give the name of the petitioner or applicant: If the petition or application is pending with USCIS, also give the following data: Office filed at Filed on (mm/dd/yyyy) >> N/A Part 4. Additional Information ------------------------------------ 3 g : Have you or any other person included in this application been employed in United States since last admitted or granted extension or change of status? Yes No >>No Please advise the mailing address to send I539 application. Pl note my H1 extension is already approved, we are applying ONLY for my wife’s H4 extension. Appreciate your time. DanTheMan Posted October 8, 2014 Report Share Posted October 8, 2014 I have an H-1B. My two daughters are 5 and 7 years old. Can I file to extend their H-4 status using only one I-539 and list one as the applicant and then the other as a family member on the supplement? Link to comment
