gcseeker1111
Belle/JoeF/Attorneys-Would appreciate your advice. 1) EB3 485 filed in Sept 2007, currently have EAD and AP.Priority date is June 2006 2) new EB2 Labour and I 140 approved recently through a new attorney/law firm. Priority date ported successfully on the new I140 Now that my priority date is current , will adjudication on my I 485 happen automatically or do i need to do anything ( I read in some forums that an interfile notice needs to be sent to USCIS).How long can this process take. If my new attorney needs to send the interfile letter does he need to file a new G-28? -GCSEEKER1111 Link to comment

sadboy
It may sound strange but you do not need to do anything else, as the immigration service pulls files off their waiting shelves when visa numbers become current.(This is what I have heard of but if others can confirm would be great).
