Tijuana - Sandiego-Mexico boarder

Hi, I am on H1 with company XXXX and visa, petition, I- 94 valid till Jul 2011. I changed to new employer to YYYY got a petition valid till Feb 2014 without I- 94.

I have asked to leave the county and re-enter to get new I- 94. Can I goto Tijuana - Sandiego-Mexico boarder. Will US customs give me a new I 94 upto new petition date (Feb 2014) or I must goto stamping to Tijuana Mexico. If I need to goto Visa stamping can someone please tell me the process.

My I797 is valid but I94 and H1B visa getting expired because of my passport is expiring. Can I get validity based on my I797? Is Tijuana border safe?

My I94 and visa got expired on Sept 2010, but in the mean time my employer applied for H1 extension. First after 4 months H1 got denied,but later after applying anew case, I got my H1 with I797B. Should I go to stamping first? and Am i eligible to go to Mexico for stamping? Have you come across any thing like this? Please help me.

Though my H1 Visa(OLD) is expired, Am I eligible to just get my I94 updated from Tijuana? please help me.

Renew your passport then goto Tijuana boarder before your visa get expired, you will get new I 94.

You can goto Tijuana only if you have a valid H1B visa, Since your existing visa got expired you need to go for stamping to Mexico. Prior to that you need to apply a visit visa to Mexico.

No one care you are entering into Mexico or no officer took your existing I-94, While returning at US, You I 94 will will be taken by the office who gives a fresh one to you.

What is the procedure to cross the border at Tijuana? Do we need any visa? I also have my I-94 expiring before the Visa and need to get a new I-94.
