Case of missing Biometrics - I 485 approved - Help

Hi,

My wife and I have our I-485 approved. We were notified when our applications for extension of EAD and AP were rejected stating that the case has been approved.

However, we have not received any "Welcome" letters and the status online still shows "Initial Review".

On inquiry, USCIS mentioned that the case was approved June 2010, but our Biometrics was missing and hence the delay.

We have since had the biometrics recorded 4 times in the last 6-8 months. Every time we make an inquiry they send us a Biometrics appt.

We have also had a couple of INFOPass appt. and same results. They check their records and it shows the case approved, but missing Biometrics. They print out a biometrics appt. letter and we go over to the Biometrics station and record it the same day. (This has happened twice). Its been 60 days since our last INFOPass/Biometrics. No progress.

They did however give us I-551 stamps each time (with 90 days validity).

Any ideas ? Anyone else in a similar situation ?
