I am asking my employer to file premium processing for my i-140. I am currently on my 6th year of H1 and will expire in March 2012. Problem is my company might get acquired soon and i may not have a job. In that case if my i-140 is approved before that, can i take it to the new employer and have theme extend my visa next year based on this approved i-140 ? Link to comment
