sadboy
My case is a EB3 to EB2 transfer and recently my I-140 got cleared , was able to capture the old PD. Now there may be a possibility that I may be laid off. Will my lay off affect my 485 processing i.e. can my GC be stopped in case I get laid off? Joe F Belle/Attorneys please comment. Link to comment
Belle
Well, what has not started cannot be stopped, right? Are you planning to file I-485? Link to comment
sadboy
Belle...yes 485 was filed in 2007 when my PD became current ..but have filed for my spouse now... Just wanted to know in case 485 is pending and I-140 has cleared when PD is current and am laid off..any issues/concerns I should be aware of? Link to comment
Belle
Your best strategy is to find a qualifying job and file for AC21 portability. I would match it to the EB2 petition. Link to comment
