I got my approval next day, but my spouse's status still showed pending. So I opened SR for my wife. Waiting for response... Anyone in the same boat or suggestions.. Link to comment
h1b1holder_2000 Posted August 16, 2011 Author Report Share Posted August 16, 2011 If your Notice Date is July 2007 and priority date becomes current, on the first day you can open a SR. I opened SR and got mine approved next day. Be sure to open SR for your dependent together. I received approval for my wife 3-4 days later Link to comment

Honestly, it takes a LOT more than a day to get I-485 found, evaluated and approved. Your SR had nothing to do with the timing. Link to comment
