H1B to H4 COS during grace period

I received H1b to H4 COS delivery confirmation from fedex on 06/10/2024 but haven't received the receipt number yet. My h1b grace period ends on 06/29/2024. Is fedex delivery enough to maintain legal status or I need to have receipt number before the grace period ends.

The "received date" needs to be on or before your grace period ends. You won't know the received date until you get the receipt, but it should not be more than one or two days after it was delivered. Yours was delivered so much earlier than the end of your grace period, that the received date will almost certainly be before the end of your grace period.
