Shouman Posted May 23 Report Share Posted May 23 I am currently on h1b and have my I140 approved . Recently filed for extension of h1 and have h1 approved till 2027. My wife is also on h1 and my daughter is a us citizen. My project is over and my company is sending me back to india for a new project and i may not be able to come back before 8/10 months or so. While i work from india for the next 8/10 months my wife and daughter will continue to be in usa and i want to be able to visit my wife and daughter in usa . If i file an h4 visa (using my wife’s h1) that impact my h1b or my green card application or my approved I140. I have not filed the I485 yet as my PD is in 2017. Quote Link to comment
