asbhatia Posted March 29 Report Share Posted March 29 I got news back on Feb 10 that I have been impacted by layoff and my access will be cut from the company. The HR confirmed to me that since I’m on h1, my employment date will be till March 29 2024 that is today. The separation document under the severance package I signed states the “Separation Date: The Parties agree that the Employee’s last day as an Employee of the Company will be March 29, 2024 (“Separation Date”)”. For the time between Feb till now I have been getting regular biweekly paychecks listing the $$ as Notice pay. Today I got my final paycheck that had settlement of everything including my unused vacation hours. My severance settlement was paid as a separate entity and not in the biweekly paychecks. Can Someone pls help on identifying when will my H1B grace period start? Quote Link to comment
