Is name change suggested for H4 visa?

My wife has a very long name with 36 characters in first name and 4 characters in last name. Is it suggested to change name before coming to usa. 
she has all abbreviated name like "X Y Z A B GGGGGGG " in all academic documents, aadhar and pan card but full expanded name in passport and marriage certificate. 

Is it suggested to change the name as short form to "GGGGGGG + Lastname" by  dropping abbrevations in first name before applying for H4 visa?

It is not necessary to change her name, but it is true there are character limitations on visas and many U.S. government documents and forms.
