Thrips
Hello all, I am in the need of your advise asap. Please respond and help! I just got H1B with my current employer and I had never worked with this employer outside of USA. I was a consultant to them for past 2 years in USA only. Can I convert my H1B to L1A now? Is it mandatory that I have to work outside of USA with the same organization/branch/affiliate before the company files my L1A? Appreciate your quick responses in this regard. Quote Link to comment
Attorney_24
One of the requirements for L-1 is that the Beneficiary must have worked outside the U.S. (for an entity which has a "qualifying relationship" with the U.S. entity) for a continuous period of one year within the 3 years preceding their admission to the U.S. Quote Link to comment
