I am planning to go for F1 universities (Harrisburg, Ottawa, University of Fairfax) . But my main goal is H1B. If i got picked in lottery this time. I have 3 dependents (Husband, and two kids 8 &6). Attorney_24 Posted February 28 Report Share Posted February 28 If you want to study in the U.S a change of status (COS) to F-1 may have to be filed before your 60-day grace period ends and you need to be maintaining status or be in grace period at least 30 days prior to the program start date listed in the I-20.
