B2 Extension I539 and I539A

Hello, 

If any one has faced this situation ,  parents have filed for a B2 (I539 ) and I 539A extension and the primary applicant wants to leave due to business obligations. secondary applicant planning is to stay in the US for the duration of the extension, Extension is still pending? Will it be an issue for the secondary applicant for future visits ? What would be the best course of action ?
