KJhun
I am on H-1B and equally a Passionate Maths Teacher. My Wife has EAD and she runs her online education business. I never take any money from students from my online teaching. It's all in my wife's name and she pays all the taxes etc. filed through a CPA. we are on I-140 approved stage in GC processing. I want to upload my Maths teaching videos on Udemy. Is it possible for me to do that while keeping my wife's name as the beneficiary for any income being generated? I do not want any immigration issues. Quote Link to comment
Attorney_20
Tutoring students online would be a violation of H1B status, regardless of whether you are paid or not. It would not be advisable to upload educational content to Udemy as this could be interpreted as employment with Udemy by USCIS. Quote Link to comment
