Parshv Posted February 14 Report Share Posted February 14 Hello everyone, As per the new H-1B rule, if I don't have a project can we still participate in H-1B Lottery or we can't participate in the lottery itself without a project? I know that if my H-1B is selected in the lottery I need a project to file the petition but I just want to make sure that as per the new H-1B rules starting this year can I still participate in lottery without a project or do we need a project to participate in lottery as well? Attorney_24 Posted February 14 Report Share Posted February 14 An employer can submit the registration only if they have a "legitimate job offer." If the company generally places people on projects and if they do not have a project for the Beneficiary, then they don't have a legitimate job offer. Quote Link to comment
