nanda2024 Posted January 30 Report Share Posted January 30 I am on L1B and wife is on L2S I have approved I140 for me and my family. I485 is filed and it’s waiting for PD to be Current. We are family of 4 and all are AOS candidates praying the PD to become current.. Me and my wife have got the AOS EAD Me, my wife and my younger daughter have received Advance Parole-waiting. Have not received the advance parole yet. My company lawyer has put enquiry on it. Right now I am on L1B and my company lawyer recommended me to switch to H1B status change. I already have lottery done for H1B in 2021. I did not used yet since I used L1B to enter USA. My question is 1) Should I switch to H1B or simply stay on AOP and EAD without switch to H1 or renewing L1? What will be advantage/disadvantage of switching to H1B rather than stay on AOS and EAD? 2) Is it safe to switch to H1B while I am on AOS? 3) Will my wife be able to work using her AOS EAD when I switch to H1B? Should I switch to H4 EAD when it happens? She will be H4 when my states change is happening. Quote Link to comment
