BallHound Posted January 23 Report Share Posted January 23 My Max Out date is February 25, 2024, and my PERM was filed in May 2023. Considering the current situation of PERM processing times, I may not get my approval before May 2024. Additionally, COS H4 with EAD was filed on Dec 5th, 2023, is in the process, and is expected to take anywhere between 3 and 6 months. I have explained my situation to my employer, and they are considering allowing me to work remotely, but it has not been approved yet. If approved, can I work from India until either of my applications is approved? If yes, when is the best time to travel - before the Max Out date or after? I am also wondering if working remotely for a couple of months is legal. Please note that my current H1B extension petition, filed on May 9, 2023, is still pending approval. Quote Link to comment
