AshokAraja502 Posted January 22 Report Share Posted January 22 Hi , I have question for my case , I have got spent first 3 years in US and went back and got H1b extended for another years from outside of US. got extended but travelled back to US before 1year expiry of Visa which means i have spent 2 complete years physically out side US. once travelled back got extended rest of the 2 year un used term now that i got current H1b extended until 2025 June. My question is, since i have spent 2 complete (2020 and 2021) years out side of US in between of 6 year clock. Am I eligible for another 6 year clock reset ? can i go for Extension after June 2025 for another term Please help to get answers to my question Thanks, Ashok Quote Link to comment
JoeF Posted January 23 Report Share Posted January 23 Since you came back with the same H1 you don't get a new 6 years. You only get a new 6 years if you are abroad for at least a year and then go through the lottery again. Quote Link to comment
