Deepaak Posted January 19 Report Share Posted January 19 I am currently working in a company in US on H1B and looking to relocate to India, and I accepted an offer in India. The joining date for the role in India is end of feb. Meanwhile, I might need more time to sell my condo and settle things here. The joining date is non negotiable as per the company in India. Can I take a sabbatical from the US, say for 4 months? meanwhile head back to India and join the company in India? I am thinking this could give me enough time to take care of the things in US, also if needed, can come into the US for settling things once and for all. Is this legal? Quote Link to comment
