USAdrim
Hello, I need your expert advice on my current situation I am on L1B visa , completed ~= 3.5 years. I-140 approved June 2011, Priority date May 2010 Will my company file I-485 /EAD now? or will they wait for date to become current? Also whats the advantage of I-140 approval for me now? I mean if I get my L1 converted to H1B then i heard it will help me extend 3 years..is that true? Please comment Link to comment
redgreenbluee
please consult a lawyer. you can only apply I-485 when PD is current. with an approved I-140, you can extend H1 beyond the 6 year limit. L1 time count on 6 year limit of H1 time. Originally posted by USAdrim: Hello, I need your expert advice on my current situation I am on L1B visa , completed ~= 3.5 years.
