Will my CPT employment be looked at CPT bridging and will my OPT be denied?

Recommended Posts

After a recent OPT denial after my grace period, I had to exit the country and re-enter to start on a new program of study, which was in a day-one CPT college. Subsequently, I landed an offer for an internship, which I have been working full time from September 2023 to December 2023. They've extended an offer for me to work till I graduate in July, but it will be full time. I am afraid for my chances at applying for OPT for when I graduate in August of 2024. I will not exceed 11 months, but it will be continuous full time CPT till I graduate.

What are my chances of rejection? The internship is related to my program of study and has ties to the established curriculum. I also managed to land an offer because of my new program of study, and what I'm learning is very relevant to the job. I am still scared my OPT will be denied. Should I reject the offer? Or negotiate it to part time?

Would appreciate help on this
