H4 DS160 Error

Hello,

We have appointment booked for H1B and H4. In the H4 DS160, found a mistake where the preparer of the child DS160 is stated as parent but by mistake entered the child's name instead of the parent name. Would this have an impact? Should I create a new DS160 since Appointment has already been booked?

You can create a new DS160 and bring a copy to the interview and be sure to also mention during the interview the inadvertent error.

Thank you very much for the response. I am assuming the same applies for the DropBox appointment as well since I forgot to mention that this is a DropBox appointment and not a consulate interview.
