I have my N-400 US Citizenship interview coming up soon, and I am traveling abroad 13 days after the N-400 interview date on a family emergency. 1. If I pass the interview on the same day and take the oath on the same day of the interview, how soon can I get the US Passport? Assuming I get the passport on an emergency (since I'm traveling abroad), how soon can I apply & get an Indian visa on the U.S. Passport? 2. Is it recommended I just complete the interview but choose to take the oath and apply for U.S. passport later after my trip abroad considering all the unknowns and rather use Green card to travel abroad?
