GNH Posted November 21, 2023 Report Share Posted November 21, 2023 Does anyone know how long it actually takes for the NVC to schedule a immigrant visa interview date in Mumbai after they accept all the documents? The state gov website says 2-3 months but other places on the net say that it may take about a year in India . My mothers documents were accepted in August and 3 months are over with no news … Quote Link to comment

Unfortunately, there is no standard wait time between when the NV completes their review and the interview at the consulate. At that point in the process, everything depends on consulate interview availability. Moreover, each consulate is different. Quote Link to comment
