Sujith Pedapudi
Hi, I have an approved H1B for 2022 Cap. I went for stamping on 20, July 2022 and have received admin processing white slip for admin processing and no documents asked. It has been more than 480 days so far. Meanwhile I moved to Singapore but I recently received an offer from another company in US and they have started my new H1B petition using the previous cap. Now once this new petition is approved and if I go for stamping with the new approval, will it create a problem? Before going for stamping with the new employer should i have to withdraw the old H1b stamping application? My previous stamping application was in India and for the new application I will be doing it in Singapore embassy. Even if i go in another country should I have to withdraw the previous application Quote Link to comment
Attorney_20
You will not be eligible for an H1B with a different employer if the visa stamp or I-94 card was not issued for the cap subject petition. If the cap employer job offer is still available, you can reapply for a visa for that job again. Quote Link to comment
Sujith Pedapudi
Hi, Another employer has filed for my petition and it has got approved. Now my I am in confusion on how to proceed with the stamping. My previous application is with Hyderabad embassy pending for more than 500 days now. As i am staying in Singapore for the past 1 year i can go for stamping here. But before going for H1B interview with the new employer approved petition, is it advisable to withdraw the previous application from hyderabad embassy or we can proceed with the new application in Singapore. Thanks, Quote Link to comment
