shanji2005 Posted November 6 Report Share Posted November 6 I have valid I797 from 2022 till June 2025 and My dependents need for thr H4 stamping but my spouse and daughter passports will be expire on Apr 2024 & Jun 2024 so we can apply thru Takkal to get their renewal passports within 3 days after we will fill DS 160 and get the stamping? or we can apply stamping first and came to USA and then to file with H4 Extn.which one is best thing? Attorney_24 Posted November 7 Report Share Posted November 7 If the passport expiry date is earlier, then the I-94 validity will be truncated to match the passport expiry date. If you want to avoid filing the H-4 extension after their entry, you can renew the passport prior to their arrival. Quote Link to comment
