Hemanth Shetty Posted October 28, 2023 Report Share Posted October 28, 2023 I am currently on H4 visa that expires on December 2025. I need to obtain a new stamp. I needed a few clarifications regarding the following DS160 question , "have you ever been unlawfully present, overstayed the amount of time granted by an immigration official or otherwise violated the terms of a U.S. visa?" When I had gone for my previous H4 stamping(drop box), I had answered "yes" to this question because I could not leave the country due to the Covid-19 pandemic and ended up overstaying. I was called in for an in person interview but my visa stamp was eventually granted(which has expired recently). I have not overstayed my current visa period so what do I need to answer for this question ? Quote Link to comment
