Should I apply for premium H1-B Renewal?

Hi,

I am currently renewing my H-1B/I-797A Document, and still have 4 months left. My company said that they will not be doing premium out of pocket since USCIS gives an automatic 1-year extension if it's filed on time. However, I can pay the $2500 myself and upgrade it to premium.

Here are my questions:

1] Does this impact H-1B transfer if I switch jobs in the middle? For example, my H-1B could be in processing and it is expired. So will this somehow make it impossible for the transfer?

2] Do I still get the 60 Days to find jobs if I lose my job? Currently, when my i-797A is valid I can still look for jobs, but is that still valid if I lose my job?
