Laxman Van
Process to return to USA when I140 is approved against L1A (Blanket) and priority date becomes current? Assume that I140 is approved in EB1 against L1 A (Blanket) -> I leave USA for other reasons -> I am outside USA and the previous L1 A is expired and EB1 priority date becomes current. IF I am still working for the same employer, will I be able to get back to USA again on L1 or will the process be different here? Quote Link to comment
Attorney_6
Having an approved I-140 petition does not affect your L1 petition filing. Generally, to be able to enter the U.S. again in L1 status you will need to have a new L1 extension petition filed and obtain a new L1 visa at the consulate. This is assuming you have not used up all 7 years of L1A status. Quote Link to comment
